1) RU Visual Identity Workshop
Please note that University Relations is offering a Rutgers-Newark
session on working with the new RU visual identity, March 1st at 9 am in
Blumenthal. Those wishing to attend must register for the class. On line

2) TCC/FTA Research Program in Transportation
The Rutgers Transportation Coordinating Council (TCC) has been
awarded a major research and education grant from the U.S. Department of
Transportation/Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The primary goal of
the grant is to promote university-based research and workforce training
in all areas related to multi-modal transit systems. The Office of the
President announced the funding of a university-wide research and
graduate fellowship program, similar to the Academic Excellence Fund, to
provide seed funds to support the goals of the program. Some of the key
areas of interest are infrastructure engineering and asset management,
planning and policy, infrastructure security and risk management,
intelligent transportation systems, transportation economics, and
advanced information technology.
