A large number of Honors College students take the opportunity to apply for an Honors College Undergraduate Assistantship.  Based upon the requests from faculty members solicited by the Honors College Director, Honors College students are selected to play an active role in the faculty member's own research project.  Often supported by a small stipend, these assistantships can represent the first opportunity for Honors College students to be swept up in the excitement of making, rather than simply consuming, knowledge and often provide students with skills and contacts that enhance their options for graduate study.  Take a look below to see what our Research Assistants are currently working on:
